Why Objective-A?
We have implemented numerous custom solutions that have both saved our customers time and money. We believe our teamwork, efficient working strategy, reasonable upfront pricing, straight forward communication and honesty is key to the success of Objective-A and our clients.
Creative Focus, continual brand awareness, quantitative project management, a company culture with real shared vision - ultimately we make sure that we've got you covered, really. Objective A Development does more than just create what's in your head, we step back and plan how we get to where we need to be, QUICKLY and documented throughout and beyond the project timeline.
Creative, yet focused
Objective A has a deep interest and a mindset built on relentless creativity. That's true whether we're tackling an initial application launch or a maintenance update of a product.
Brand Awareness
We're not a tech shop that hired a couple of designers to paint the applications we build. And we're not a design boutique that ignores the feasibility (and functionality) of what we create. We believe every customer touch point is a key part of their brand. And every decision we make - whether aesthetic, strategic, or functional - is made to reinforce that message.
Project Management, "I'll settle for perfect."
Every development company has a process. Our team actually uses ours. From the initial scope to the milestones, we document and comment everything we do, our process uses checks and balances insuring that our information is accurate, and your team is accessible.
Company Culture
Objective A is a small group, yet we work with more precision and methodology than we've experienced in the enterprise. We employ a handful of people, yet we're scalable on a moment's notice without diluting our core values and culture. We have a culture built on "collective entrepreneurism." We empower our people. And, in turn, they succeed for our clients and yours.
We've really got you covered. No REALLY.
Subversion
Objective A uses Subversion CVS on our projects. You may or may not be asking, "What the heck is that, and why does it matter to me?" The down and dirty, quick definition is: a computer software package for tracking file changes. This enables us to rollback your project if you or someone you employ should happen to damage something we have built for you.
Storix
Storix software is actually one of our clients, but we don't use their software because of that. It's backup software, and it's the best we have ever seen (we've used EVERYTHING) out there. During10 years of designing and implementing backup systems we choose Storix Network Backup Administrator. It has the ability to do Bare Metal backups and restores, which simply put is when a backup is made of a computer system and that computer system dies it can then be restored fully, as it was to any new hardware... regardless of brand, make, model, size, or technical spec!
Clustered Backups
We use Dreamhost as our clustered servers hosting provider, which means 80% of our web clients do too.
Dedicated Server Backups
We use Rackspace, Slicehost, Linode and Media Temple VPS for our enterprise clients. This is from $50 a month and up, but worth every penny. There is no better customer service anywhere in comparison to these guys. As they say, "Fanatical Support," so much that they may even begin to bug you...
